Blackhorse Beer Mile Harvestfest
Join us for the Blackhorse Beer Mile’s first Harvestfest on the 4th of October
Our humble Mile is growing this year, and as you know we’re no longer just made up of breweries. With beer, wine and brandy, there’s one thing we all have in common... Harvest season is coming up: cooking up recipes with green hops, getting a full year’s worth of grapes in, collecting apples for a special batch of brandy, we’re getting busy!
This year we’re celebrating Harvestfest on Saturday the 4th of October. Expect everything from outdoor roasts to hoedowns, live music, barn dances, winery tours, lots of cask, perfect pairings and of course, beer, wine and brandy.
6 breweries, 2 wineries, 1 distillery and a day full of food, drinks and fun - free entry and dog friendly as always
Burnt Faith’s Apple Harvest is in full swing: help them get ready for their next special release by donating apples from your garden. Expect apple brandy, cider from Real Al and a special outdoor barbecue by Black Cactus
Newcomers 40FT Brewery are settling into Lockwood Way with DJs across the day and a special one day menu by Acme Fire Cult
Big Penny Social is keeping things traditional: next to a live band and DJs in the Beer Hall, there will be Morris dancers and a chance to donate to local foodbank Eat Or Heat all weekend.
Harvest, but make it Signature Brew with Neil Young-tribute Rust for Glory playing the album Harvest (and more) in full. Try the brewery’s core range on cask, sample their new green hop beer and share barbecue in the yard.
Borough Wines E17 will host three wine tasting sessions, have autumnal cocktails and a selection of cheese and tinned fish to pair (or donate!)
Get your double denim and cowboy hat ready for a Harvest Hoedown at Pretty Decent, with Lageritas, Bourbon, country bangers and yard games.
Exale is here with a Southern-style shindig, with live music from Christy O’Donnell, and DJs playing everything from Americana to honky tonk and house until 2AM. Yeehaw!
Harvest is the busiest time of the year for Renegade Urban Winery, with their annual grape harvest coming in. Come quiz the winemakers during their hourly winery tours.
More newcomers: East London Brewing Company will be opening their doors for the very first time on Lockwood Way, with DJs, live music, tacos from the Leytonstone Tavern and burgers from their own Tavern on the Hill.
Free entry kid and dog-friendly
