MCA Day UK is finally happening, at Signature Brew, Blackhorse Road E17 on Saturday 1st June 2024,

A not-for-profit event by and for fans, bringing people together to honour Adam Yauch, mark Ill Communication’s 30th Anniversary, and celebrate the greatest band of all time. All proceeds from the event will be donated to charity. All artists are donating their performance fee to support these amazing organisations.

Attractions include:

Mix Master Mike’s favourite DJ and two times DMC World Champion, DJ Woody is joining us once again to perform his awesome ‘Beastie Related Incident’ set (and maybe a few surprises).

Writer, Loaded creator, NME editor, and Sounds journalist @jamesjamesbrown will tell us about his many, many adventures with Beastie Boys, and sign copies of his book, Animal House.

Beastie Freak Freak (Hot Wax, Mondo Bizarro Jams), Manchester's finest beastie freak brings us a mix of classics and deep dives

Family dance-floor legends We Can Be Heroes Disco will be spinning a classic hip-hop set especially for younger Beastie Boys (and girls)

Brixton Radio’s Alex Cuddles will be opening the event with an Ill Communication inspired set to celebrate this seminal album’s 30th birthday.
